Marketing Account Manager

Serendipit Consulting is looking for a Full-time Marketing Account Manager who is passionate about marketing and understands what it takes to execute all of the components of a strategic plan to exceed client goals as well as being able to think strategically and have a hawk eye when it comes to details.

The ideal candidate for this position will have 3-5 years of experience in marketing or advertising. This person must be able to manage a team of account executives, graphic designers, vendors and interface clients on a daily basis and be willing to travel and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

This leadership position is responsible for the growth and maintenance of agency accounts. This position will directly manage approximately 10-12 accounts and teams. This position will have little to no day to day execution of account tasks.

The ideal candidate is someone enthusiastic and passionate about getting results for clients. Someone who understands what it takes to work hard and play even harder. Most of all, someone who is determined, thrives on challenge and is a solution finder.  The ideal candidate will be required to have strong management, creative knowledge and project management experience. The ideal candidate for this position will posses a variety of    analytical and written / verbal communication skills.

In addition, candidate should have excellent follow through, be a team player, have great organizational skills, ability to prioritize, attention to detail and creative resourcefulness. The ability to be a self starter and work independently is a must.

Experience working behind the scenes developing strategic marketing plans and the knowledge of on and offline marketing is key to the success of this position.

Essential Duties Include:

      • Manage multiple projects (10+)  and their account teams simultaneously
      • Manage Account Executives and Junior Account Executives.  Develop staff through performance management and giving consistent feedback.  Identify with staff, developmental opportunities and help them to work toward their professional goals.
      • Assist VP of marketing with Serendipit operational growth items: training, process documents, etc.
      • Retain and grow existing client budgets and develop new business from existing accounts.
      • Accountable for building and maintaining great relationships with all assigned clients, including overall client satisfaction and the management of expectations
      • Ensure that all client work is completed based on strategy, on time, within budget and exceeds clients goals
      • Serve as an agency catalyst for implementing and achieving the client’s tactical marketing plan by working with internal and external team members
      • Become a working expert in the fields of clients managed. Ensure proper voice is used at all times
      • Review campaign reporting and provide strategic recommendations
      • Attend all appropriate meetings
      • Ability to understand the PR and how it fits into the overall marketing initiatives
      • Ensure all social media accounts and campaigns meet and exceed industry standards
      • Review and approve billing for all assigned clients
      • Assist with business development efforts, responsible for generating quality leads
      • Work with teams to develop and adapt servicing to meet and exceed client and agency needs, looking for ways to proactively grow the business.
      • Manage internal resources to ensure quality, budget and timeliness of assignments
      • Report monthly client billing and annual projections
      • Establish strategic marketing direction for all accounts managed
      • Assume responsibility for health of agency/client relationships and achievement of client objectives
      • Achieve agency income and time management objectives for each client

The Account Manager will also provide support to account services team members as needed with:

      • Social Media
      • Email Campaigns
      • Webinars/ Video Tutorials
      • Marketing Campaign Concepts
      • Branding Strategy
      • Website management
      • Event strategy and management
      • Auditing/Reporting/Recommendations
      • Evaluating Competitors’ Products and Services

      • Prepare/Facilitate Marketing Presentations (PowerPoint & Keynote)

Minimum Requirements:

      • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related job experience
      • 5 + years experience
      • Candidate must have proficient time and project management skills and be able to communicate effectively and work well autonomously in a team driven environment.
      • Candidate must be a SOLUTION FINDER
      • The candidate must be highly motivated and a self-starter with high standards of performance and expectations for themselves and their team. Must have the ability to work in a deadline driven environment, be extremely well organized, analytical, and possess a strong ability to multi-task.
      • Proficient with Mac and Microsoft Office presentation products.
      • Familiar with Adobe CS6 including Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
      • Familiar with basic web site CMS. Have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts

Marketing Jr. Account Executive

Serendipit Consulting is looking for a marketing jr. account executive who is passionate about marketing and understands what it takes to execute all of the components of a strategic plan to exceed client goals.

The ideal candidate for this position has 1-3 years of experience in marketing or advertising. This person must be able to manage a variety of clients, graphic designers, vendors and interface clients on a daily basis.  This person must be willing to travel and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

      • Marketing Plan/ Budget – create, implement, manage and report on annual marketing plan and budget for multiple clients
      • Client Interaction – responsible for attending regular client meetings and traveling for evaluation/ implementation when needed
      • Marketing Events – responsible for developing and managing the execution of client events with assistance from team
      • Brand Management – develop cutting-edge branding campaigns and ensuring brand standards are met
      • Training – manage and assist with sales/leasing training at locations that are in need of staff development
      • Social Media – daily management of social media interaction
      • Content Creation – responsible for content creation for multiple outlets such as ads, email blasts, collateral, branded graphics, etc
      • Email Campaigns – management and creation of email campaigns through Mailchimp
      • Technology – responsible for staying up to date with the latest technology trends and implementing where necessary

PR Intern

Serendipit Consulting, a boutique PR and marketing company, is looking for hardworking, talented
interns who want to gain valuable industry experience. No coffee runs, faxing or errands here – The
main function of the PR/Marketing Intern is to support the public relations and marketing team with
a variety of tasks.

Primary Duties Include:

• Create and maintain target media lists
• Perform extensive research
• Monitor local, regional and national media
• Assist with writing press materials including press releases and fact sheets
• Pitch media outlets
• Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts
• Assemble media kits
• Design and manage client media clippings
• Attend and help manage client events
• Research reports for current and new business

Graphic Design Intern

Serendipit Consulting is a full service creative agency that provides a wide range of marketing and PR services for clients on a local and national level. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated graphic design student to intern and grow with our company.

Responsibilities Include:

      • Assist in creation, execution and production of concepts for internal or external clients, applying style/brand guides and templates where applicable
      • Apply brand identity systems, typography, photography, color and other creative elements appropriately to design innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs
      • Present rationale for design choices; assure design meets business objectives as stated in creative brief
      • Visualize and design user interfaces for a variety of media channels, including web and mobile applications
      • Extend existing visual systems/brand guidelines across all mediums with moderate design changes or interpretation
      • Drafting and making edits to existing advertisements and campaigns
      • Proofreading materials for quality and consistency
      • Have photo sharpening, sizing, color management, and digital manipulation experience
