Serendipit Spotlight: Becky

Hey all! My name is Becky and I am a Jr. Account Executive here at Serendipit Consulting. I have unofficially been with the company for one year! (intern life) I’ve learned so much more than I have anywhere else I’ve worked and I’ve had a blast doing it.

Here in the office, I’m the girl that sits at her desk with shoes kicked off, curled up in a blanket with headphones in. Everyone knows not to lift the window shade by my desk in the morning because…squirrel! Let’s just say I’m easily distracted. Seriously, I lifted the shade 10 minutes ago and now I can’t even write this blog without daydreaming out the window.

Here at Serendipit, I work on the Student Housing team. From branding projects, to full-scope marketing projects, to social media management, every day in the office is different for me. Since I’ve joined this department, I’ve been working on full branding for new developments across the country. This is probably the best part of my job as I get to take background information and research and really bring it to life through design, color and messaging. Not to mention, I get to use Pinterest to do it! Connecting a new development with our target demographic is a puzzle that’s so exciting to solve.

Just to give you an overview of what my day looks like:

  • Presented logo options to a new development
  • Put together a pin board and research to kick off a new development
  • Finalized a name on a new development
  • Coordinated the development of a new website
  • Gave design inspiration for a new property flyer
  • Finalized a full scope marketing plan for a new development
  • And a million more tasks!

Working at Serendipit has allowed me to expand my skillset farther than I ever could have even imagined. I always have something new to work on, and I’ve really come to love the hustle and bustle of agency life!
