P.B. Bell Website Design
BACKGROUND
P.B. Bell is a property management and development company based out of Scottsdale, AZ. Currently, P. B. Bell partners with Serendipit for PR and other services. In addition, the company worked with Serendipit on brand development for their Arista at Ocotillo property. When it came time to update the P. B. Bell corporate website, Serendipit Consulting was a natural choice.
SERENDIPIT
P.B. Bell wanted a new interactive website, they turned to the Serendipit Consulting Digital team for help. The existing website functionality was slightly confusing and the design was dominated by the color yellow. The team at P. B. Bell felt the new website needed to give a better first impression, as well as feature more compelling content. Our tasks were to create and develop a new site with:
- Simplified site navigation
- A visually stunning and sleek look
- A professional WOW factor
- Compelling copy and content
- Appeal to a younger demographic
- A sophisticated tone for investors
- An interactive map to highlight P. B. Bell properties
STRATEGY
- Attract investors with a stunning site
- Appeal to a younger demographic
- Layout clear pathways to individual property sites
EXECUTION
Our first step towards creating a new, responsive site built to align with best practices was to conduct a brainstorm session with key decision-makers from P. B. Bell. During this session, we asked a comprehensive series of strategic questions in order to fully understand their goals and objectives. We also reviewed a number of websites the internal team liked and identified the frustration points of their existing site. From there, our team moved into our standard website development process, where we:
- Reworked the site map and wireframe structure of the site
- Updated all the copy - condensed and removed what wasn’t necessary
- Created and presented 3 design concepts
The P. B. Bell team picked a design direction in the first round. We worked very closely with their internal team to gather collective feedback. One key differentiator was the ability to review the site with the team and get direct, in-person feedback.
Once the design was chosen and content was finalized, we began the full development phase including buildout, testing, and launch of the new, responsive website.
