Valley Partnership

Valley Partnership is the Valley of the Sun’s premier advocacy group for responsible development. For more than 30 years, Valley Partnership has promoted the interests of the commercial real estate industry and their partners. They work to present a balanced, pro-development perspective and the Valley’s best networking and industry education opportunities.

Each year Valley Partnership selects a non-profit organization to benefit from their skills, efforts, and the supplies provided by their partners to renovate and enhance facilities for those in need. For their 2018 community project Valley Partnership selected Sunshine Acres Children’s Home as the beneficiary. Valley Partnership wanted to bring awareness of this event and the charitable work to the community. They also wanted a PR strategy that would garner positive media coverage in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.

PR STRATEGY

Our goal was to develop a PR strategy that would build a strong brand presence for the Valley Partnership community project in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. We targeted several local publications, local media and news outlets in addition to publications that were important to Valley Partnership. We created a PR plan that included a pre-event press release announcing the community project and the 2018 recipient, relevant and newsworthy pitch topics, research of local media and public officials for event attendance, local media outreach and event invitation, creation of an event day run of show, event attendance and coordination, and a post-event press release that would garner ongoing, positive media coverage in local print and online publications and local television.

SUCCESSES

In three months, Serendipit secured 15 media wins for Valley Partnership in local print and online publications, as well television. The local advocacy group received placement in the Phoenix Business Journal, AZ Big Media, Arizona Business Exchange, East Valley Tribune, FOX 10, CBS 5 and more.  As a result of continuous press coverage, Valley Partnership is recognized as a top advocacy group and the community project as a premier event in the Valley.

2019 GOLF TOURNAMENT

Valley Partnership is the Valley of the Sun's premier advocacy group for responsible development. The organization works to present a balanced, pro-development perspective coupled with the Valley's best networking and industry education opportunities. Valley Partnership has promoted the interests of the commercial real estate industry and its partners for 30 years.

Each year, Valley Partnership hosts a golf tournament to promote the commercial real estate industry, raise money for the group and generally have a great time. For the 32nd annual tournament, Serendipit was contracted to assist with the design and marketing strategy.

STRATEGY

Our goal was to develop a strategic plan and vision for the tournament, starting with a theme to promote the event. Opposed to the stereotypical golf tournament theme (Vegas, Funny Colors, Themed Holes), we decided to take a holistic approach with our “Driving The Industry Forward” theme.

Valley Partnership and the annual tournament helps bring members together to network and grow the commercial real estate industry in Arizona. Springboarding from the Valley Partnership's branding and the theme, our design team set to work. The results?A unique badge that's suitable for use in many tournaments to come, plus dynamic promotional visuals that demand attention.
