Modern Acupuncture named Serendipit as its agency of record to help with brand development, franchise and consumer marketing, public relations and more.

From day one, Serendipit was embedded as an extension of the founding team. We were instrumental in developing the name, brand positioning, brand identity, and overall vision, ensuring Modern Acupuncture launched with clarity, credibility, and confidence in a category often misunderstood. It all began with an immersive brand workshop with the startup team, where we defined the brief: remove the mystery and perceived “shadiness” around acupuncture and modernize the practice into an accessible, trusted pillar of holistic health and wellness.

From that foundation, Serendipit created Modern Acupuncture’s full brand ecosystem—from logo and messaging to signage, in-studio experience, franchise collateral, and consumer-facing touchpoints. Every visual and verbal element was designed to feel clean, modern, and unintimidating, helping demystify the service while elevating it.

But branding was just the beginning.

For more than two years, Serendipit served as Modern Acupuncture’s in-house marketing team, building the marketing infrastructure required to scale nationally. We designed and implemented systemized marketing frameworks to support both corporate and franchisees, including:
