FastMed Urgent Care specializes in emergency health services, as well as accessible workers’ comp injury services through appropriate, cost-effective care focused on return-to-work strategies for injured employees. The company also provides routine treatment services, including flu shots, occupational medicine, and school or sports physicals. FastMed Urgent Care owns and operates 109 clinics in North Carolina, Arizona and Texas. Currently, FastMed is the fastest-growing urgent care provider in the U.S.

Challenge & Opportunities

The goal was to develop a PR strategy that would position FastMed Urgent Care as a leading provider of healthcare services for the individual and for the family in the various regions where FastMed has locations (North Carolina, Arizona and Texas). We incorporated an influencer strategy to drive qualified patients from social media posts to FastMed Urgent Care’s website in an attempt to increase patient appointments and garner brand awareness. We researched and identified key micro and nano influencers in each regional market whose social media profiles and personal brands reflected the values of FastMed Urgent Care. Each influencer was verified for authentic follower counts, likes, and engagement rates using a social media metrics tool to analyze influencer data and insights before a partnership was pursued.

Upon building personalized relationships with each influencer, FastMed Urgent Care’s brand was shared with followers through the experiences of influencers as they received services and posted about their clinic visit to their personal Instagram pages.

In three months, Serendipit fostered three influencer relationships and secured a total of nine Instagram placements for FastMed Urgent Care across two regional markets. The urgent care provider partnered with North Carolina influencers Chrissy Serrano and Molly Wey, as well as with Texas influencer Elizabeth Fielder.
